Infoshop Opens in Santa Barbara





A grand opening celebration took place this Dr. Martin Luther King Day for the new Santa Barbara Infoshop. A large crowd of activists, supporters, and community members enjoyed music and food throughout the afternoon. Santa Barbara Infoshop is a community space built around alternative ideas and do-it-yourself culture to provide fellow members of our community with free resources and support for discussions and organization towards positive social change. The site is also the new home of the Santa Barbara Independent Media Center. SB Infosop is at 421 N. Alisos St. A, Santa Barbara, and is open Monday-Thursday from Noon to 6pm, and Saturday, Noon to 8pm. More info at http://www.sbinfoshop.org/ and http://sbindymedia.org/

1. an accounting of the financial dealings of earth first has been called for by the donors and members.after it was discovered that funding for forest defense was being diverted to other activities

--The E/F leadership has tried every trick in the book to keep their finances secret from members and contributors. and now refuses to disclose the truth.

2.earth first has been caught in the process of buying a recording company.
