Will Parrish Extracted After 11 Days in Crane
Little Lake Valley Defender, Will Parrish was arrested today after being cut out of his lockbox by the California Highway Patrol. Amanda Senseman was also arrested.

75 Protesters Shut Down CalTrans HQ in Willits
Two people were arrested Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Caltrans offices in Willits. 75 people protesting against the Willits Bypass shut down the building all morning. Two women were arrested by the CHP.

Six Arrested Today in Richardson Grove Protest
Six activists were arrested this morning while protesting against the widening of Highway 101, at the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting in Eureka. The Times-Standard has the story and photos here.

Elliott Free State Is No More
This morning, Oregon police removed the remaining protesters from the blockade and arrested them. Twenty-seven people were arrested over the last two days. Some of those arrested were using jail solidarity tactics. Cascadia Rising Tide and Cascadia Summer still need what ever kind of support that people can give. The action was certainly successful in that it brought attention to the issues of bad forest management and unsustainable logging practices.
